Unhappy Replace my Stolen Zumo 550

Hi All,

My Zumo got stolen and now I am blind, I am very map impaired and have become GPS dependant.

So does anyone know where the best deal is on a Zumo 550, so far the best deal I can find is $519+s&h

$519 sounds like a very good price if its legit. There are alot of unscroupulous online vendors out there. Most of them related to Broadway Photo in some way.

Check out your vendor at: www.resellerratings.com

Also, check out the Zumo Forum site. There is some chatter there about the possibility of a new Zumo 660 coming out in the Spring.

Agree with Carl, lowest I could find is $660 new zumo 550. Found a zumo 450-Referb for under 500.

Beware of TechonDigital at 519.00, they are taking orders, and then after a couple of weeks tell you that it is not in stock!! But will take your order again on the phone, and ship it if you buy their service plan and other stuff.

Where can I report this?

Re: Replace my Stolen Zumo 550

Tho not of the Zumo clan, I just ordered the following after a tip from my bud Monte - clickerclack. I don't need Bluetooth, nor XM, and the price is sure good, if you don't mind a refurb - which I don't.

Re: Replace my Stolen Zumo 550

I should have stuck with my 2720 but I upgraded everything to the Zumo and sold the other mounts. That is a great price, though.

Better Business Bureau would be a good place to start. Also report it to your credit card company that you have been a fraud recipent. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

Smile Re: Replace my Stolen Zumo 550

Yes I am interested, I have Zumo mounts on both bikes and I have gotten use to it, the 660 looks great but I would have to get new mounts.

Thumbs up Re: Replace my Stolen Zumo 550

Let Garmin know that your unit has been stolen, when they try to register software for it it will come up as stolen, went through a hassle buying a used one from one of the ADV member site, had to find the original owner to tell Garmin that yes, it had been sold legally. Good to know that Garmin does look out for its buyers.
