GPS (Garmin Zumo 550)

Has anyone purchased electronics from RS Electronics? Their pricing is anywhere from $200 to $600 under other competitors on the internet. Is this outfit legitimate? They claim the zumos are new, not refurbished, and in original boxes. Anyone? Please advise. Thanks

If you buy, be sure to put it on a credit card as opposed to anything else like a debit card. If there is a problem, you will have the credit card taking your side with an almost instant credit back to your account as opposed to simply listing you as a one of may claims in a bankruptcy proceedings.

Exclamation Re: GPS (Garmin Zumo 550) SCAM !!!

I went through the whole procedure of trying to purchase the zumo along with a xm antenna, filled out the profile, the shipping was rather high $30.00 but I went forward with the purchase, then when I got to the payment portion a screen popped up and said they had quit taking credit cards and would only accept payment via western union money order , Looks like a scam deal to me, fortunately I did not give any personal info that could be harmful............Kieth

Re: GPS (Garmin Zumo 550)

I too tried to order the item at $448.00 and when I got to the end, they said the minimum purchase was $500 and I would have to add to my order. At this point I cancelled the order. Thanks for your help and advice.
