Nav III on LT and GS?

I have a BMW Navigator III GPS on my LT. It came with the mount and connecting cable in place. I was thinking of also using it on my GS when I ride it. Is this a good or bad idea? How would you suggest I mount it on the GS, and how would I connect it? It has a unique looking cable connection. Thanks.

See if Touratech or Gadget Guy have mounts for NAV III on a GS. You're probably going to have to buy the cables from Garmin or BMW.

In addition to a mount, you may need a cradle and power cable. Here is a link to Amazon so you know what to look for.
