Help - Betty has lost her voice!

My 2610 has gone mute - it's been working fine for years, and suddenly all I get from it is a buzz. If I plug it into the car, everything is fine, audio is as it should be. I've checked all wiring connections and that's all good - could I have a short inside the wiring insulation somewhere? The screen sometimes fades to black as well....?

I don't know what caused it, but if you figure it out let me know and I'll see if it works on my Sheryl.

If you can, get a replacement audio cable and sub it out to see if that's the issue..

Good luck
