City Navigator NT v2009 is up on Garmin's website

Just went to Garmin's website to check for City Navigator 2009 and found they'd released it, must've been at midnight or so. For those of you who have been waiting for the release, it's available for download or by DVD through the mail. Cost is $69.99. If you're downloading, beware, it is VERY slow. It's 2.04 Gb in size and even time consuming on RoadRunner.

Ivan - I bought the City Navigator NT down load and tried to down load on my Navigator II and after spending a couple hours on the phone with Garmin was told the same thing that you were told...so I am waiting for the non NT version as well...they promised me an email when it comes out as I could not get my money back on the NT version

Re: City Navigator NT v2009 is up on Garmin's website

Ivan and Stewart,
I use the 2720 with the BMW mount through the maplight. Have used this on my '01, '04 and, now, '05 LT with great success. I always thought the Navigator was a rebadged 26XX or 27XX Garmin, but guess that might not be the case after all, now.
Good luck to you both!
We head for Asheville in 6 days and a wake up!
