Advise on BT S/U for GPS, satellite, cell ...

I had a Sirius satellite radio on my K1100LT years ago and purchased an K1200LT. I have been researching components for my 05 K1200LT. I have nothing but the factory 6 disc CD & radio. I want it all. GPS, Satellite radio, MP3, CB on my K1200LT. I read about the Garmin 2820 and received recommendations on the Zumo 550. I also like the Nolan N-Com 102 helmet. What about mounting? So many options what to do ? Please advise.

Pretty diverse question. You might want to review the various sub-forums related to the devices that you are interested in adding to your bike. You will find a lot of information.

You are aware that the Nolan Bluetooth setup is not stereo..

Re: Advise on BT S/U for GPS, satellite, cell ...

I spoke with a rep at cyclegadget.com and he configured a system for me. At this time I will have to connect via plug in however, in the near future (August 08) there will be an upgrade that will allow me to go totally wireless. The S/U is listed on the website under packages for BMW K1200LT. I guess I can live with a wire for a couple of months. This will also give me time to find the best helmet.
