Question NAV III and Nolan N102 helmet - Connectivity problem

Hello,

I am having problems pairing my Nav III GPS and my bluetooth-equipped Nolan N102 helmet together. My Nav III and the Nolan N102 get disconnected a few seconds after they recognize and connect to each other. The Nav III pairs and connects easily to my Blackberry; my Nolan helmet also pairs and connects to my Blackberry and to other bluetooth devices, too, indicating that each bluetooth device works properly. What could be the problem?

Thanks!

Re: NAV III and Nolan N102 helmet - Connectivity problem

I just talked with Nolan and they said that the headset works fine with a Zumo but they do not have a Nav III to try it with. As far as they are concerned the headset is working fine and they are returning it to me. I guess I will get in touch with Garmin again and try that route and see if they can help me. Are you still having trouble or did you get it working? Don

Re: NAV III and Nolan N102 helmet - Connectivity problem

I had the same problem. I found that there is two modes of Pairing. The first mode you get to, by holding down the Middle or Start button, starts the Vol up and down lights to flashing after about 7 seconds. If you continue to hold down the power button the lights will start to flash faster. Then try to pair the two. This worked for me. I then paired my GPS to the phone ( an iPhone just in case you were wondering) and everything connected fine. You want to make sure your phones BT is not on at the time your trying to pair the helmet to the NAV, as it will try and connect messing everything up.

Hope this helps.
