Nax III & Traffic Updates

Does the Nav III support any traffic modules? I know the 2820 supports the XM GXM 30 & GTM 10 (preferred), but am not sure the firmware for the Nav III does. It has the menu option for traffic, but I couldn't find out on the Garmin web site if the Nav III supports it.

Also anyone use the XM service? I have the FM service for my car for the GTM 10 and like the way it works, but have never used the XM service.

Re: Nax III & Traffic Updates

A couple of links for you:
  • Garmin's main Nav III page
  • Download the manual here -> CLICK (right-click and select Save Target As...)
According to that manual, the Nav III support FM Traffic, but I don't see any mention of XM Radio or Weather.

Re: Nax III & Traffic Updates

Thanks, I've added that link to my favorites. Just out of curiousity how did you find it? I did a search on the garmin site for navigator III and didn't get it. Just a lot of info on the Streetpilot III and other III units.

Re: Nax III & Traffic Updates

I should have known.

I use Google quite frequently, but didn't think of it while at the Garmin web site.
