Replacement for Garmin Nav II

My Navigator II was stolen from my k1200lt and I can't find another. Does the streetpilot fit the BMW mount?
Thanks for any help!

My understanding is thatit will work, but the left buttons on the BMW cradle will not.

You can remove the BMW cradle and install the Garmin one instead. Your wiring is already there. You will lose the left buttons and their functionality, but you are getting a newer Garmin with better performance and lower price instead.

This is correct. The BMW mount will hold the Garmin Streetpilot, however, the buttons on the mount will not work. As I currently have that same set-up.
