Thumbscrew to replace Garmin torx

Has anyone found a thumbscrew replacement for the torx screw that is supplied with the Garmin motorcycle mount?

You ought to be able to get it from Garmin. My mount in place of the map light originally came with the thumb screw. The small torx screw is part of a "security kit".

Garmin can supply the torx screw. This screw doesn't require the special screw bit.

I looked on Garmin's web site but couldn't find it. I saw a link for a website in the Netherlands but was hoping to find it a little closer to home.

According to the Zumo Forum, shipping time is approx. 10 days to the U.S. from payment confirmation date..for what it is worth.

Or you may just want to call Garmin up and ask them what they can offer.

Or, try Darrel at www.tvnav.com

He even beats Garmin's prices at times and has refurbs at a great price.

No it's not. I don't know these guys, but I do know that many have already bought the screw and are happy with it.

I haven't bought the screw for my Zumo. For one, I don't need one (I don't even use the Garmin screw) and for two, I think it's too expensive for just one tiny screw (yeah, I'm Dutch )
