Co-Pilot, 2720, Sirius Reply, and V1 (??)

Ok gentlemen, I have an 03' LT which is lacking in some of the basic farkles!

I am wanting to keep up with some of the Joneses and I am wanting to add the BMR Co-Pilot Shelf, the 2720 and I need a mount or cradle or whatever for the Sirius Replay unit (which I already have). I may also purchase a V1 and would to be able to hear the warnings through the Comm System (would I need a Remote Audio Adaptor?)

I need your suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Hey Bret,
Can't help you with your Sirius problem, I use XM myself, but I do have a question. What the hell man, did you win the LOTTERY or what? Sounds to me like your try'n to catch up with Joe not the Jones.

Good luck with all your new toys.

I like the Sirius on the Hoon Mount over the clutch or brake reservoirs. My ADD dictates that I have to change the stations every 10-15 minutes. It's a lot easier to do that when it's closer to you.

The BMR shelf is just too long of a reach for short people like us. It looks like it works great for the radar detector and the GPS. But I question how many times do you need to push one of the buttons on one of these units.

For shorter people like you and me, this could be a problem when you need to reach in order to change the station on the radio or find a new FM frequency for the unit to transmit to. Especially when you find yourself making these changes on the highway at 70MPH.

I've had my Sirius unit on my LT for well over a year and it works great!

Rob, since I have ADD, ADHD, ABC and whatever else, and the fact that I stand tall at 5'6", you present a valid point!

Now you are complicating the matter! LOL

Smile Sirius

I love my Sirius (liberal) radio. I don't seem to be able to upload attachments from home, I will try tomorrow at the office.

Hey Short stuff - put it on the BMR shelf and use the remote. Thats what I do. Actually I have the remote in the tank bag with a lanyard so I won't lose it, but I have never used it.

Hey, no problem bro!

I have my 2828 and XM mounted on a BMR shelf. I still believe that's the best solution. It looks good, it's rugged, and convinent. Have fun with them new toys.

I have the BMW Co-Pilot shelf, will be receiving a 2720. Now I will have a cradle and the motorcycle kit, is there another cable (audio) that I need to hook up to my Comm System?
