Contemplating going from Nav V to a Nav VI. In your humble opinion is it worth the $$ to do it. I know the Nav VI you are supposed to be able to read it in the sunlight, but is it worth just for that ? I guess a few have done this .

Hello Booger Man.

I have upgraded from the Nav V to the VI. IMHO - it is worth it - the screen is much better in direct sunlight - but to me, the biggest improvement is the faster processor - maps are drawn, and routes calculated on the NAV VI significantly quicker than on the NAV V.

So many little time!!
