New BMW owner needs some help

Just traded a Triumph Explorer for a sweet R1200RT 90th Edition.

Love the bike, but I'm a bit stuck on the bluetooth painting dance. Read a bunch of threads and got close but need some help to bring it home!!!

BMW Nav with the latest software.
Sena SMH10
iPhone 6

Got everything going but can't get the iPhone music to play over bluetooth.

Radio and GPS are fine in the Sena and the phone caller ID is on the GPS so that's all good.

I think I read somewhere on one of the many threads that Siri and the BT music can't be played thru the Sena and keep all the other functions.

Is this true?

thanks in advance
