Need Maps for a Nav III

Hi all,
I picked up a Nav III from a member here however it has no maps installed so it only shows major interstates and major roads.
Does someone have maps/disc/options to make this unit useable?

Re: Need Maps for a Nav III

Scotty, you might read my post of last week "Removing Navigator III?" on the LT Forum. My LT is new to me and I wanted to start using the Nav III but found most people feel it is probably antiquated at best, (my words). You probably need a couple of cables with it, if you try to update it from the Garmen site, one for power and one with a USB from the computer. I don't have the cables but mine seems to work fine just slow and I've found the screen is a bit small for my old eyes trying to look down at it while riding!

I do have all the cables and all of the updates have been done however it needs the detailed maps so I either need a version of maps prior to the change to NT maps or maybe jump through hoops to try to make the newest version of maps work.
