Problems Installing Nav II Disks

The BMW Nav II came with my R1200RT and I have been trying to install Mapsource on my computer. When entering the unlock code, I always get an error message as follows: "Incorrect or missing language dll file. Please reinstall Unlock Wizard.dll."

It has been reinstalled numerous times and I always get the same message. Is there a quick fix for this or will I need to send the entire thing back to Garmin? I would like to avoid that if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you considered calling Garmin support (telephone)?

I tried about five times to call technical support but simply got tired of being on hold for a total of approximately 1 1/2 hours. I just finally gave up. Maybe tomorrow will be a slow day and hopefully will get through to a human voice.

Did you reinstall using the old / original City Navigator disks? If the GPS originally came with for instance CN version 6, you need to uninstall everything (including directories and clean your registry for best results) and reinstall using CN version 6. You can upgrade your maps after complete reinstall.

Don't forget to update Mapsource afterwards to the current version (v 6.11.3).
