Go with a Nav or Garmin

I have a BMW installed Nav II & mount on my '07 LT.
The GPS is on its last leg.
Can I mount a Nav IV or V or a Garmin 590LM directly to my existing mount?

No you need a different cradle for the newer models.

Re: Go with a Nav or Garmin

Here's some pictures of my '07 LT with the Garmin 590LM installed, using the old Nav III mount. I had to enlarge the holes in the stingray and mount hardware to enable the new cradle's wiring to fit through the Nav III mount. The 590 comes with a new cradle and wiring.
