1999 era radio cassette. Information update

I have finally received the definitive answer:

Thank you for your e-mail.

- The cassette-radio fitted in bikes produced for the Australian market is the same as used in Europe.

- The optional CD-changer is working on the CD-radio too.

- The cassette- or CD-radio of any bike built for a European market will work in your BMW K 1200 LT.


Anyone in the EU countries know of working second hand radio cassette for sale, please ?

Interesting to note that the later model CD Radio combination will work the 6 CD changer in my older bike.
I believe that the only addition is a small extension cable to reach the antenna lead (?)
