Anyone ever order parts from Max BMW? http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/

I cant get them to answer any email about the order I placed last week. Are they trustworthy or did I pick one of those dealers that never returns emails or phone calls.

Take that back, I had to fire off a second email to a different person and I got a response right away.

They must have had weird email problems as his email came in perfect and the one that they said they sent on the 11th was never received.

So far so good with them :-)

Re: Max Bmw

I've had very good experience with them.

One time I ordered valve shims, the 29 mm kind, three of them in three different thicknesses.

They sent a fourth (no charge) where the thickness was right between the second and third that I'd ordered because "they thought I might need it".

I had a "MAX BMW" sticker on my KLR650 swing arm because I was so consistently impressed with their service.

Re: Max Bmw

I just ordered a part for my center stand last week. I expect the part to be in soon. It's because of their online parts info that I was easily able to find the part that I needed.

Tim,
Max's has three dealerships up here and a very good reputation around New England. I have never had an issue and most posts that I seen on this forum have been positive. They also answer the phone with a real person. On a side note their tire prices are very competitive.

Re: Max Bmw

Have always been prompt in responses and always able to get them on the phone. Enjoy the M&Ms or skittles they include with shipments. Shipments on time when they have stock on hand.

Re: Max Bmw

I received prompt service when I ordered crush washers, o-rings and some Tupperware hardware. Arrived with a nice Thank You letter, a couple business cards and a couple MAX BMW stickers.

Re: Max Bmw

Think about your post for minute.

Do you really think MAX got built from scratch to its current dominant position through stupidity and then been able to maintain that for years including through the crappiest bike economy in recent history by bad service?? Wanna guess how many others including BMW dealers have gone belly up in the past 5 years?

When you're a customer of the most successful- learn to give them the benefit of the doubt in any new situation- you will likely be pleasantly surprised as in this case..
