Follow Up On Ordering Parts From Euro Cycle Tampa

Since I had to cancel my parts order with Chicago as a result of their closing I decided to place an order with EURO Cycle in TAMPA. I'm pleased to report that the experience was great. I called in and talked to parts, Nick I believe was the gentleman with whom I spoke. He was very pleasant and more than happy to work with me. I had previously put together a parts list with BMW part numbers and so I simply gave him my list. My package arrived yesterday via UPS 13 days after placing the order. I believe the reason that it took that long is that I had order parts for my 1985 K100. They, for obvious reasons, did not have the parts in their inventory and had to order them from their distributor. Anyway, the order was shipped complete and I was given a 20% discount on retail. Of course, unlike Chicago, being a Florida resident I had to pay Sales Tax but the discount more than covered the tax and shipping. I'm a Happy Customer and will certainly use them in the future.

That's great to know they're at a 20% discount - a rare bird.

It's my understanding the "new" owners of Chicago have reduced it from 20% to 12%.

Yes, I agree (a rare bird). I should mention however that it was suggested by someone previously that the 20% applied only if you provide them with the BMW part numbers when ordering. I did not ask to confirm this because I had the specific part numbers available when ordering. As I was placing the order they punched the part number that I supplied into their computer and read the description back to me for my confirmation. A reasonably fool proof system. As stated earlier I was very pleased with the service.

Re: Follow Up On Ordering Parts From Euro Cycle Tampa

I just ordered a couple of parts for my 2000 R1100RT from Euro Cycles and they had them at the store within 2 business days because I asked if they could rush order them since I was leaving for the Keys the next week. They did and I don't think they even charged me extra for the rush order. I did get a military discount also without even asking for it, which is always nice. Great service and helpful employees. One of them even told me a great place to grab breakfast in the Keys.

I recently placed my second order with them for more K100 parts. They called yesterday to let me know that they received the parts and would get them sent off to me. Friendly folks and great service!
