Another BMW Louisville Update
A little background first. I purchased my first BMW at BMW Louisville in June. They had just changed facilities and share with an established HD dealership. The salesmen were polite, but the BMW knowledge resides in the service and parts departments. I have dealt with James on a few occasions and he has given some good advice. On a previous visit, the service tech -- don't remember his name, but he apparently has a lot of BMW experience--could tell this from his explanations and knowledge of some technical issues brought up on this forum such as cam position sensor issue, front ABS wire rubbing on rotor, etc.
On the last visit during the 6k service, the tech noticed my valvestem on the rear tire was twisted due to my aftermarket TPS device. I ordered a metal one and had it installed with a new set tires. Hope the Interacts last longer than the Road Attacks (5800 miles).
I have been pleased with the service. I live in Evansville, so it is nearly 2 hours away and I want to get in promptly when I have an appointment. Tires cost me about $340 installed. Said there was a special until the end of the month for free installation if purchased through them.
Overall, I am pleased. I have a 2010 RT.
