Adventurer's Workshop

I ordered a Hammerhead Shifter from Adventurer's Workshop on 10/22/2010. Made payment via Paypal same day.

On the evening of 11/01/2010 I recieved an email from them. It stated, " Just wanted to let you know that the black levers are out of stock and will be out of stock until the end of December. We do have silver levers available though.
Please let me know what you would like to do.
regards,
Andrew "

We emailed back and forth about colors and I emailed them today with my final color choice. I haven't heard back yet as to when it will be shipped.

I won't lie....I'm a bit concerned that it took 9 days to let me know they were out of stock.

Has anyone else had any experiences with this place they'd like to share? Are they always this slow, or are they having some issues I don't know about? Maybe I'm just being unreasonable....

Re: Adventurer's Workshop

I have not used them but..... 9 days to let you know they are OUT OF STOCK on an item to me is way too long. I ordered a set of tire from a dealer recommended by this site & I received an E-Mail the next day telling me the front was on backorder.

Sounds like they slipped up. I have used them before with no problems.

My patience is up. They have my money and I have no product and no answers. I asked for a tracking number and recieved no reply.

I filed a complaint with Paypal. They either need to produce a product or refund my money.

And "how they roll" translates to crappy communication = crappy service.

Re: Adventurer's Workshop

Today, 11/08/2010, I finally recieved my shifter. It wasn't my original color choice, but it'll have to do.

17 days to get this part. It's clear that AW doesn't stok any parts. Had I known that, I never would have ordered this from them. I could have ordered this fromt he manufacturer and gotten quicker results.

So, my opinion on Adventurer's Workshop is this...they SUCK! I will never buy anything from them again. Anything they sell can be had from other places because he is nothing but a reseller, he is not a stocking dealer.

17 days. Poor communication. Unbelievable.
