MAX BMW parts

Is the parts pricing on the MAX BMW website discounted from list? I was just curious, because I priced some parts from there, and I can get them, including shipping, cheaper than I can buy from my local dealer.

Re: MAX BMW parts

Some dealers offer better prices than others. Bentonville BMW of Bentonville, AR is my favorite.

Re: MAX BMW parts

I have found MAX BMW prices to be better than most, but not always the cheapest. I use MAX more for their service. When I forgot to order a seal needed on a clutch change a while back, I called 10 minutes to closing on Saturday. The parts guy found the part and said he would take it to the post office on his way home that afternoon. I got the part on Monday. I once bought my parts from a cheaper place in California that had no customer service and often took up to 2 weeks to get the part. Getting someone on the phone was almost impossible. I have purchased from Bob's BMW and like their service, but pricing is better at MAX.

Re: MAX BMW parts

No, I believe they charge list prices. They are great at getting it out to you. Maybe your dealer does a mark-up.

I often order from Chicago as they do a 20% discount but you have to bug them sometimes to get it shipped out. I usually only do this for items I stock up on, if I need it now MAX is the way to go. They were our supporting dealer for CCR this year and donated a 24K maintenance kit for the tech session.

No. They charge list price. Pehaps your dealer is using a higher mark up.
