Thanks BMW of Atlanta!

Just a note to publicly thank the folks at BMW of Atlanta for some outstanding service.

I had purchased a rear tire from them and had trouble keeping the tire in balance. BMW of Atlanta was kind enough to represent me to the tire manufacturer. The manufacturer gave me a full refund for the price of the tire and all is well.

I should also mention that I had a few extended warranty claims on the LT over the last few years. BMW of Atlanta worked very well with Interstate Starr to ensure my claims were handled quickly.

My Arai is off to Bill in the service department, Maury in the parts department and the "big guy" Bob. Thanks for keeping your dealership at a very high standard!

Re: Thanks BMW of Atlanta!

Always good to hear that a dealer has gone to bat for one of their customers. And to include individual names is a plus in the shout out. Should get as much attention as those dealerships that don't maintain a high standard of 'customer service'.

Wonderin' if you could make an entry in the *Dealer Experiences* forum too, Warden? Some folks, not on LTs, might miss it here in the LT forum.

Re: Thanks BMW of Atlanta!

23 months ago I bought my "new to me" 2002 K1200LTE from them. They had also sold it to the previous owner when new. It was only the 2nd time in my entire life that I did not feel taken advantage of when buying ANY vehicle.

Then later I felt even better. There was an issue with the title. The previous owner had never gotten a new one removing the lien from his financing from BMW. Then he had lost the title! Lynda jumped on the problem and got it cleared up, went to the state and got a title right then (extra money), then went to my county tag office to get the tag and overnighted it to me. She did all this after I said I'd be happy to pick up the paperwork on my way home from work and go the tag office myself because it wasn't their fault. She said it was a great day to ride and took care of all of it!

They are definately customer oriented.
