Thumbs up Grand Junction BMW

Actually Grand Junction HARLEY DAVIDSON, ktm, bmw.

At any rate, while circulating from my home in Phoenix to the MOA rally and the Top O' The Rockies Rally in Paonia, CO I found myself in dire need of a rear tire. Prior to leaving I had estimated 6k remaining on the Metzeler in back, but a combination of abrasive road surfaces, hot temps, and spirited riding had taken a toll. Then I picked up a nail that, although it didn't puncture the tire, did start some cord to fray.

At any rate I made it to Grand Junction HD / BMW. As my rear tire was going flat in the parking lot, I realized I was going to be spending a lot of time in GJ if they didn't have a tire in stock. But despite being first and foremost a Harley shop, and having only one BMW tech from what I could see, I was in and out in less than an hour with a new tire. While I was there, the shop was also doing some drop in service for another BMW rider returning to VT from OR.

A big thumbs up from me. And you can watch the other brand guys decide on do-rags and straight pipes while you wait.
