Thumbs up Sandia BMW-Albuquerque, NM

My '09 RT always had a mysterious miss and sporadic clutch issues. One dealer said the miss was normal and the other dealer said he couldn't detect a miss. I rode in the Land of Enchantment 1000 in Albuquerque and the clutch finally presented itself at the end of the rally....clutch disengaged and rolled along at 8mpg. I left the RT at Sandia BMW for repairs. Jeremy and John called to say the seal between clutch and tranny failed. Awesome! And they replaced all plugs and coils.
I decided to take the long way home to test the repairs. My route home took me from Albquerque-Gallup-Shiprock-Moab, UT, Denver, CO, Salina, KS, and finally to Coppell, TX. 1621 miles in 33 hours without a miss or clutch issue. And I was able to earn a SS1000 and a Bun Burner 1500.
The service at Sandia was professional and the shop was the best I've ever seen. Thanks to all the personnel at Sandia. Y'all really have a good thing going. Plus, my bike was washed and cleaned as a bonus.
See you guys soon!

Re: Sandia BMW-Albuquerque, NM

I couldn't agree more. Last summer, after having ridden more than 2000 miles from home, my '07 RT started to misfire and stall at traffic lights. I found Sandia BMW and they had diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and had me back on the road in less than an hour. It is a great service department with a wonderful crew.
