Gateway BMW in St. Louis a attaboy
Quick trip from Toronto, ON. to St. Louis for a family reunion. Sat. @ 7 in the morning I found a major leak which I could not idientifiy, and called Gateway BMW at 8, they picked me up with a trailer by 8:30 and had the leak fixed by 2PM. It was a gas leak from a crimped gasket at the fuel filter port. I had the 40,000 KM inspection done at Open Road in Newmarket, On. and the gasket had been crimped. Don't know why it waited 4 days and severel hundered K's to start leaking. @ 3:45 I found the leak had come back and called Gateway, and they said to get the bike back before they closed at 4.
Two mechanics and the service manager were staying to work on their own bikes, but changed to mine, and got me out by 8 PM. They are not open on Monday so if that didn't work I would of been delayed through Tuesday.
They had a fantastic additude and went byond the norm to see that my trip was succesful.
If you are in St. Louis stop by and get to know them. Shannon is the service manager and Ryan was the Mech. Many thanks to them.
