Thumbs up Pro Italia in Glendale CA

That is the place where I take my wheels to have my tires mounted.
The techs at Pro Italia will do the job for you, including balancing, for $20.00 in cash. I have used them about 7 or 8 times, and the job was always done right the first time. They will mount the tires I buy online from swmototires even though they are an exclusively Italian bikes shop. Service is so good that I tip the tech another $5.00, and last time I bought pizza for the entire shop.
I am going there in the next hour to have them mount a new front BT020.
Riders who are local should give them a try; the shop is quite nice, and people are friendly.
I tried the Cycle Gear nearest to me and they charged me about $35.00 for the same job, and they refused to put any air pressure over 30 PSI on any tire they mount.

Re: Pro Italia in Glendale CA

The Cycle Gear near me charges $20 per wheel, and has the adapters to balance the weird BMW wheels. They'll fill to whatever pressure I ask. They can usually get things done in an hour or two, but lately have been much busier so sometimes I leave the tires and come back later that day or the next.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
