Angry WARNING!!! Northern Colorado BMW/Ducati Motorcycles

if they break it you buy it. I had my bike in there for a brake bleed and ended up having to do a clutch. Probably coincidence but them stripping the thead on the swing arm and then bending the right side bracket for my faring mounts adds up to an extra $750.00 they feel they have no responsibility to fix.

BE VERY CAREFULL HAVING THEM WORK ON YOUR BIKE

Re: WARNING!!! Northern Colorado BMW/Ducati Motorcycles

I am surprised, I had good luck when I was through there a few years back. Someone told me they were under new ownership, I think they were recently purchased by the owners of Foothills BMW in Denver.

Re: WARNING!!! Northern Colorado BMW/Ducati Motorcycles

They are under new ownership. You are correct the owners of Foothills BMW also own this one. Michael Hendry is the owner. The service department is very young. When I called the service manager and told him they had bent the mounting bracket after spending over $3200.00 less than 4 hours before all he could say was "try and bend it back" it is bent so bad I had to order another one at about $175.00 from another dealer of course.

They broke it, they fix it. That's why they carry insurance.

There is a small shop in north Fort Collins, called Beemers and More .

They are much better to deal with, they are motorcyclists (not business-men). Steve (one of the owners) is a Master BMW Tech.

This is why I always pay by credit card so afterwards I can dispute the charges and get my money back the easy way. Or file a small claims charge in court. Usually only cost about $20.
