Cudo's to a dealership

I just wanted to give a job well done to Engle Motors in KC. I brought my bike in for the 6k service (13RT) and when I got home I noticed a small chip on my valve cover under the oem plastic protectors.

They pulled the bike in and when they removed the protectors they noticed a small burr on the plastic which rubbed into the cover. They had a new set of covers and a left velve cover in stock if you can believe it? Within an hour I was out and on my way home.....good bike shop day......

You might want to check your protectors even the new protectors at a minor burr that they cut off before installing on my new cover......FYI

I just figured it would be a nice change to post something positive about a dealer..my good deed for the day........oh and my front heated seat replacement is still on order....the 2nd replacement ... No heat.........getting ready for winter.....

Engle Motors has always treated me fairly. Glad they took care of you. I think all of us need to let each other know of -not only bad experiences- but the good dealers as well.

Thanks for your comments.

Re: Cudo's to a dealership

Engle Motors is top-notch. Because of availability, I purchased my 1200RT from another dealership (last low suspension '12 model around my area), but I use Engle for my service. They had previously taken care of my two airheads, and Bob Kohlscheen (hope I spelled his name right) is the "Yoda Master" of all things BMW. Best tech I've ever used.

2006 Ducati ST3s RED
Many previous airheads, Japs, Italians . . .
