Re: BMW Motorcycle Insurance

Hmm, not sure.

That is interesting. I think I checked with them when I first picked up my '12 and if I recall correctly they did not sell MC insurance. I do have my home owners with them. I may inquire to compare with my progressive coverage.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: BMW Motorcycle Insurance

I had them for home owners insurance and auto insurance up to 2010. They forced me to have Auto in order to have home owners. This is Florida where homeowners insurance rates are legally criminal. So anyway their auto rates were higher than average but home owners rates were reasonable at the time.
In 2010 they canceled my home owners for no reason. Then I canceled the auto insurance. I will never ever have any policy with Liberty Mutual again.
I currently have Progressive for auto and motorcycle. I see no reason to change for the moment.

Re: BMW Motorcycle Insurance

My take on this is that BMW Insurance Agency has nothing to do with BMW, North America. They are just independent agents, taking on this name to be a little misleading. They are also not affiliated with Liberty Mutual, but are agents whose policies are underwritten by Liberty Mutual. They charge you x, purchase the insurance from Liberty Mutual for y. x-y = their profit.
