The Grim Reaper

Got to wave at the Grim Reaper as he drove past me today. In my case it was an attractive 30 something female in a Toyota SUV. I stopped at a red light. When the light turned green I looked to my left as I always do before entering the intersection and looked into his eyes as he ran the red light at a full 40 miles per hour or more. A car coming the opposite direction from me also escaped death as they were able to stop just short of the center line. Had I not looked, I likely would have been struck in the drivers door at 40 MPH or more. I am posting this to say that habits I have developed while riding my motorcycles almost certainly saved my life today. A 40 MPH T-bone in the drivers door is not normally survivable.

Ride like they're all idiots, because some of them are.
