It's been a while since I last posted here, though I visit almost every day

Just sharing a bit of news. My Novel, The Shadow Rider: A Crooked Piece of Time was published today and available on Amazon.com, and soon many other sites, for all of the ebook reader formats. The print versions will follow shortly.

This site and our Tech Sessions are mentioned in the book, though at a fictitious members home in Texas.

A few of the members here have already read quite a bit of the work, during a crowd-sourced editing experiment held on Facebook a couple of months back.

Coming out of hermit mode now, ready to rejoin the riding and camaraderie.

I will watch for the print version.

Sounds similar to the Brad Thor book I am reading now.

Thanks Dave, hopefully not too similar...

The print proof is on it's way to me now, then it's a quick cover to cover before I release it.

It is just the type of books I like. Brad Thor (character Scot Harvath), Vince Flynn (character Mitch Rapp), etc.. There was always Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, and Jack Ryan Jr. Sadly, there will be no more of those.

Will be adding the print version to my library when it comes out. May have some chips and Double D Habanero sauce for munchies while reading.

I just read the reviews on Amazon
sounds like we're going to have to schedule an RTE/ book signing ride,
how long do you think it will be before the movie comes out

Just finished it Dave. Wow held me right to the end. I had seen some of your snip-its on Facebook but never had a chance to read them fully and was hoping they were for the book. Once I read the first chapter I was excited that I would finally have a chance to read them all.

Hope there will be more to follow as you have the potential to fill the Clancy Gap!

Not sir, the full initial manuscript of 159,000 words was written during November 2010. No character or plot line draws from Gabby's horrible real-life experience.

When I receive my first case for book signings, I can shoot you one. PM me your address and phone.

75-78 Active Duty. Then "Other" service.

The bike is my 06 R1200 GSA, with me riding. Shot taken in Norther Nevada heading into Utah, sun up and the road turns south for a few miles, and I started shooting.

This is the image from which the book cover was made.

This is the base Image taken during the ride.

Re: It's been a while since I last posted here, though I visit almost every day

Hi everyone. The PM system here is hosed up, and almost every PM I send just goes in the Bit Bucket.

Please contact me via [email protected] if interested in a signed paperback.

Sorry for the issues communicating, I've posted messages to the Support Forum, wit no response.

Update:

The Hardcover version with Dust Jacket is in process now, and should be available by mid May.

Also, Audible is beginning the process of creating the Audio Version. This will take a while, as you may imagine, to select the right reader for the Genre and the book.

Got mine today, thanks Dave! I am in the middle of the last Tom Clancy book now, will start yours as soon as I finish.

Strange, the news about Russia and Ukraine seems like reading this Clancy book. Strange how he had a lot of what is going on now on paper long before it really started happening.

I loved Clancy's level of detail and accuracy. His research was always top drawer.
