Redneck funeral

Ok, first off, this is not a joke. I had to go to Flora, La Sat for my wife's uncle's funeral. A whole bunch of people I didn't and still don't know when in walks a guy in camo overalls along with his little 5 or 6 yr old daughter - wearing a camo jacket. Geez. Turns out it's my wife's cousin. I kid you not...........

I thought I had stepped in a scene from Duck Dynasty!

Re: Redneck funeral

My condolences on the loss of your wife's uncle. Can't choose the family you're a part of if you're related by blood.

I used to work with an older man who described his brother-in-law's death like this...

Me..."I'm sorry for your loss, Don. What happened to your BIL?"
Don..."That son of a b|[{# just dropped dead."

Don had nothing against the man. He's just plain folk. Says what he thinks.

Re: Redneck funeral

Sorry for your family's loss, but since we're being sympathetic here by sharing similar stores -- at my father's funeral several weeks ago some numbnut shows up in shorts, a T-shirt, and tennis shoes. Seriously? The only consolation is we did figure out who he was, and he is not a part of our family.
