+1. That Ambassador's position is in great hands! Proud for ya, Don. And glad to have had the pleasure of your acquaintance in Natchitoches 'back in the day.' Best always.

Re: BMW ON write-up

I have to believe Don is known universally throughout the motorcycle community. I was at a Rally several years ago over on the gulf coast of Florida and while standing in line for dinner the guy in front of me noticed my BMW belt buckle. He ask if I rode BMW motorcycles and when I answered yes, he said, "OH then you must know Don Norwood!" When I responded that in fact I did he added, "Isn't he a great Story Teller?" Of course I said, yea, he's the best!
Congrats, Don

And that's a great story in itself, Lynn. You have reminded me that when I was at the BMW MOA rally in Vermont in 2006 I ran into Don in the indoor vendor area. I had just met Don a couple months earlier at the Iron Horse Lodge during STC. And I'm pretty sure I've seen Don at the IMS in Cleveland more than once. I thought "Man, this guy gets around...."

Fast-forward to this past year when I was working in New Orleans. I had rode over to BMW of Baton Rouge on a few weekends - a couple times just to look around, once for an oil change, and another for service and a tire change. The very first time I was there I ran into a group of people, all of whom knew Don.

Re: BMW ON write-up

Congrats Don! Been quite a while but I remember you when I was at the Iron Horse Lodge during STC. Always a good word and always a good story. Glad to say I've met you.
