LT Sightings

Yesterday the wife and I were out riding getting ready for our trek to STCII and saw another LT going in the opposite direction. I got all giddy and amazed. As I rode along I began to think about our reaction to seeing another LT, some folks turn around and run them down to meet them and others just wave nonchalantly. I guess we see so few of them that it causes excitment, or perhaps it is because we realize that we agree with someone else that this is the greatest bike around.
I am glad I dont react like that everytime I see a HD I would never get anywhere, Might as well just stand on a street corner and watch as the parade goes by.

I hear you. In 2000 there was a ton less than now and a siting was so rare that you almost had to be committed to a mental hospital when one happened. I was in la trucka in Houston and trying to catch and stop the guy caused him to run in terror.

I agree, Just think what a better place this would be if everytime you say another LT you stopped and met just to introduce yourself to them.

I think I am going to start doing that. So if you ever find yourself in NW Arkansas on your LT and see another LT chasing you down its ok...its just me trying to make this a better place.

LT sighting would be great. I get all giddy just seeing another Beemer out here.

Last summer I did see one - quite awhile after CCR - guy hd stopped to get gas, saw him from the road. Decided I needed some gas too. Nice 'enroute' chat up at the pumps. Haven't seen another since...

There is another LT in our little town. I have seen "her" twice. Once in a car and the other time I was on my LT. I wanted to do a U-turn and track her (yes, I believe it's a girl ridding the bike) down but I was on my way to pick up my son and running a bit late. The other bike is a brown one. I will find it again.

See one a day

Neighbor has an 04 LT in his garage.
Everytime I pull out of my garage on mine, I see his parked there. (He is in heavy construction and therefore will not ride the LT to work).
I guess I am the lucky one.
And, oh yea, there are a bzillion HD's in our town.

Dave, we got any bmwlt.com emblems, stickers or something that could go on the 'trophy flap'??

Another 'board' I've been known to visit has had a nice, tasteful sticker. It's a bit tricky to find one anymore.
