Re: gas milage

Just got back from the Olympic Peninsula last week.
Filled up (on the side stand) with a tank full of sweet nectar (clear 92 octane) in Sappho, Washington & rode all the way to my front door in Wilsonville, Oregon with the low fuel light just coming on as we pulled in.
That"s around 300 miles on one tank, Two Up & Loaded. I figure that We were getting around 49 mpg.

Re: gas milage

Just did a MPG check......on back roads, doing 60-65 MPH, and with 93 octane no ethanol gas.......

51.3 MPG....

I've noticed that with ethanol gas(still the 93) the MPG goes down about 3-5 MPG

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me; I want people to know 'why' I look this way.
I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
