CCW Breakaway Pants

Anyone have any experience with these pants that are designed for concealed carry? I prefer a shoulder holster in winter when I'm wearing a jacket but need an alternative when it gets warm.

Not sure how comfortable they would be riding.

Consider a good IWB holster, there are some real good ones out there now.

Any IWB recommendations? Other than a shoulder carry, I've not been able to find anything that is comfortable.

Yea, on the bike these Breakaway pants might not work.

But maybe this might -

Hey, Greg - I don't know from nuttin' about carrying and related stuff, and I bet you already know about DiSantis (at one time back in the day, he made LT luggage cuz he is/wuz an LT rider). But here is a site that carries (no pun!) a lot of Gene's goods. Might add info to your discussion.

Gregg:

Its a personal thing for me but I don't care for small of the back carry, also don't think that would be comfortable on the LT, considering the seat design.

There are several good IWB holster makers, local guy here Andrews made mine. Some of it is a matter of wearing it a while and finding where and how to wear it for maximum comfort. I've got a pile of holsters that I don't use, never were comfortable or some other reason. Holsters are like a lot of other things, you get what you pay for, a $20 holster probably won't make you happy. Expect to pay around $50 to $90 for a good one.

Dick's suggestion is a good one, that guy makes excellent holsters.

What pistol do you have in mind? There are some folks thinking outside the box and have what I think are some good options for the smaller automatics.
