I'm hoping we have zero replies to this one, Brett.

Just finished watching the aerial video of some of the damage created by these storms. Gut-wrenching. This story will be developing for a long time.

Re: Oklahoma, Moore and Oklahoma City

Missed us by that much..... Sunday by maybe ten miles.. Monday maybe 20 miles...

We did lose a good friend in the 7-11 that got wiped out...

She had just looked after our house and dog two weeks ago while we were riding in Missouri...

You gotta be tough to live in Oklahoma.... Thinking of Jeff today too...

Take care kids.. We're fine...

Re: Oklahoma, Moore and Oklahoma City

I live in south Moore and it missed us by a mile. I volunteer with the Red Cross and today is my first day off since the 19th when the initial storms hit Norman, Shawnee, and Carney. I've got 2 more days this week then it's off for some 2 wheel therapy at the NE Oklahoma BMW Club rally. Unbelievable devastation but folks are helping each other and will bounce back just like we have before, this one may take a while. Thanks for your thoughts, I even had a guy from Florida notice I'm from Moore in the Anonymous book to call and check to see if I was ok. The motorcycling community has some special people, it's good to be a part of it.

The saying it takes a village to raise a child
Well it surely takes all hands to restore a town. It's good to hear the fortunate helping their neighbors recover from so much devastation. Again my prayers.
