All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Re: Komputer Kindergarten

Good stuff. I thought I was hot $hit in the 80s when I was writing DOS batch files and using the first versions of Norton Utilities to create menus for PC newbies.

And that reminds me... I still have a Peter Norton-autographed pocket protector. They were passed out as party favors at a COMDEX vendor party one year; Norton was there and I got him to sign mine.

I remember digging through arcane instruction sets on a shiny new CP/M system many years ago . . .

Re: Komputer Kindergarten

My first experiences with Norton was using Norton Commander in DOS 3.0! That was the first real step toward "graphical" interaction, was a couple years before Windows. It was not really graphical in today's sense, but was text based with colored clickable text fields for interaction. Really simplified using Batch files.

Peter Norton was a HERO to many people then!

Re: Komputer Kindergarten

The Semiconductor machines I support still run mid-80's QNX, with the occasional excursion into Windows 2 for certain tasks . . .

Those older UNIX-based systems were pretty basic, yet quite powerful.
