Sedona,AZ

I've been out west this past week and yesterday hiked around the trails in Sedona with my wife and I've got to say that this place is simply awesome. I really do miss the bike! Maybe on the next trip.

Last week, 221 of my friends from around the world got together in the skies over Eloy, AZ. I should be able to post of the formation of a picture in a few days. You'all who live out here are in heaven...

Re: Sedona,AZ

Sedona is a nice stop but has changed a lot in the last 40 years. Very expensive now, but as you noted, the area a beautiful. 89A north up the canyon is a hoot, and south down to Jerome and beyond is something else for motorcycles and beautiful views. The mining museum in Jerome is a very informative place to visit and discover how extensive that mountain has been mined out when you take a look at the 3-d scale model of the shafts under the town.

Re: Sedona,AZ

From my motorcycle bucket list........
You are a short ride/drive from Winslow.
You should go there and stand on a corner for awhile.
Such fine sights to see.........

Grass is alway greener on the other side isn't it.
Come to Ohio God's country. Great lakes in the north and great riding in south.

Maybe we can compromise say South Dakota.

Just Go

Don't have the SO, but every time I read one these "you should have seen"........Got 1 year left.
I have a road atlas beside my easy chair, that I'll pick up and pick a state......very relaxing, after a day at work.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me; I want people to know 'why' I look this way.
I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Yeah! I would call that a bird's eye view.
As good or better than GPS with pictures. Plus you can keep an eye on Smokey and relay back to your riding buddies below
