Re: sightseeing at stc

Are you talking about the Biltmore in Asheville? If so Sammie & I went there 10 or 12 years ago and it was well worth the price to see such a beautiful home.

Yes, the Biltmore, thank you, I might just go check it out while I'm in the area

Well worth the trip David. It is the Largest privately owned home in the US. It has one of the very first Brunswick bowling lanes in the Basement. Get there early as it takes a while to see everything. Sammie spent 5 or 6 hours just in the outer Gardens.

Definitely worth the trip. The tour is nice and nearby riding can't be beat. If you stay at the Doubletree they will ask how many is in your party. Correct answer is at least 10, cause you get a warm cookie for each person! And they are good.

Definitely worth the visit, my wife and I have been there several times. It is worth it to do a little research ahead of time. Besides the magnificent home they also planted over a million trees, literally creating a new forest canopy, undergrowth, waterways etc. Simply fascinating.
