Here is my system. I signed up on myfitnesspal.com to count calories and track my weight loss progress. Putting in everything I eat, allows me to see just how MUCH I was eating. Holy cow! WAY too much. I have cut my intake by a lot. I also joined the Y in my area and workout 5-7 times a week. If I'm not at the Y, I'm on my mountain bike in the woods. It's been one heck of a struggle, but I feel much better. I have to watch myself constantly, because I really like to eat. I can slip occassionally, but that means I have to spend a little more time at the gym. I have a dumbbell workout I do twice a week, in addition to 30 minutes on the stair climber and 35 on the elliptical trainer. Mountain bike rides are usually 7 miles, although I've done as many as 12 a couple times.
