NOAA Website pages

Anyone who has the full resolution NOAA radar loop on their computer having trouble with the site? I use it frequently, and the last two days, have been unable to open the site. Desktop - laptop - iPhone, all show "HTTP 404 not found". I'm guessing that because it's not up on any of these devices, the hosting server is out of commission for some reason. Just wondering if someone can confirm what I'm experiencing. Sure would hate to lose the site permanently. I check on 7 family-related locales using that site - one page does it all. Thanks in advance, all.

Re: NOAA Website pages

I use the composite loop quite often for my area. That seems to be working fine for me as of Sunday evening.

Thanks, Scott. Don't have a clue what the problem is - all my urls are right. I'll keep working on it.

Dick, try to clean out your cookies and restart computer. Maybe some loose crumbs are redirecting your computer!

Thanks, Dan - great 'support'!! That's the site I 'used' to have - the full resolution version. I'll do the roto-rooter on the cookie crumbs, all three devices, and that'll prolly fix it, as you said. Appreciatecha -

BTW - as a thread hi-jack: how's the hand? You back in the tank yet? Had a little chat with the grouper and it now sees thangs your way?

Re: NOAA Website pages

I think you are allowed to hijack your own thread. Thanks for asking... It is all healed up and I'm back in the tank.

On a side note, it was a workman's comp claim since it happened at "work" and so far, I've been contacted by 5 different local lawyers wanting to represent me in my claim. Ain't it wonderful!

Hope that NOAA is back... My wife still depends on her weather rock. Pretty reliable most of the time.

Re: NOAA Website pages

I just did a Google search and came up with a web address that works. Try this: http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php.

Hi, Bob - yep, that's the one I used to use. Glad that it's back online now. I've got a second site as back-up, so am now good to go. No explanation from the site owners as to what happened during the disappearance time.

Thanks for your post here - good to have confirmation. Take care.
