Post The "Original" Quote

From 83 year old Mavis Leyrer while being interviewed for a Seattle news story on her longevity in 2001. Plagerized by numerous motivational speakers as “unknown”, I recalled Zig Zigler giving her the credit when he quoted it at a motivational conference a couple months back. Some embellishment and paraphrasing occurred as "holy shit" is not in the original citation.

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!" -Mavis Leyrer
