Rare occurence

Unbelievable. Still in February and I was able to wear my summer gloves out on the bike today, in Scotland, at 56.13 N (further north than Moscow). Must be something of a rarity in this part of the world. And before anybody asks, I didn't need to use the heated grips.

Re: Rare occurence

Very strange in many places. It was 80 deg. F at my home yesterday, and nearly that again this morning!

Of course the worst blizzard in recent memory here in eastern TN was in March of '93.

Flowers are blooming, daffodils are plentiful now, trees are budding, so a big freeze will really spoil spring here.

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work...I want to achieve it through not dying.

Re: Rare occurence

Another rare occurrence. We got 4" of snow overnight in Chicago, IL And it might actually be below freezing tomorrow. Its been 5-10 degrees warmer than usual since December started. But early Spring, and 55F will be back Sunday. Yes, it has been one heck of a winter up here and for the first time ever, I have been out every month this year.

Yes, not much of a story for you FLAtlanders and Texans, but for use, its sure been great to have the LT out and about all winter.

Naaaaa, we'll always have climate change... The big question is why?

Me, I think the sun might have a tiny play in the cause!

Re: Rare occurence

We needed a break this year. The last two winters here in NWA have been brutal.
