Re: Knowledge test of old cars
I got 88.
Surprised me that I got most of the Chrysler ones, as I never really liked that line of cars, but I guess they were a little more distinctive between brands.
Most surprising is that I crossed up some of the GM cars, and that was my brand for many years.
I did pretty well on the older cars, as I worked in my Dad's service station in the late '50's.
I moved to Toyota's in '69, and have had at least one ever since.
I got into BMW's a few years back (motorcycle first, then the cars), now have a BMW car and a Toyota truck, so my following of American cars got very weak, especially when they started making some of the worst vehicles on the planet in the late '70's to early '80s'. Glad to see they seem to be making a good comeback now though. I could possibly own an American car again in the future, have not had one since that first Toyota in '69.
I don't want to achieve immortality through my work...I want to achieve it through not dying.
