+1! Exactly what I got as well. And it was combination of the Mopar cars & the odd makes that through me off. GM, Ford, no problem!

Re: Knowledge test of old cars

I got 88.

Surprised me that I got most of the Chrysler ones, as I never really liked that line of cars, but I guess they were a little more distinctive between brands.

Most surprising is that I crossed up some of the GM cars, and that was my brand for many years.

I did pretty well on the older cars, as I worked in my Dad's service station in the late '50's.

I moved to Toyota's in '69, and have had at least one ever since.

I got into BMW's a few years back (motorcycle first, then the cars), now have a BMW car and a Toyota truck, so my following of American cars got very weak, especially when they started making some of the worst vehicles on the planet in the late '70's to early '80s'. Glad to see they seem to be making a good comeback now though. I could possibly own an American car again in the future, have not had one since that first Toyota in '69.

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work...I want to achieve it through not dying.

Uh, no, that's my job. My 58% proves I'm just in the younger demographic of this site.

And that score reflects some really lucky guesses.

69% and I wasn't even born until '63. My dad had a '58 Ford convertible, so I didn't miss any of the Fords. Some of the others were tricky. Got them by pure luck.

Re: Knowledge test of old cars

85, but if the same quiz was given with 90's and up model years, would probably get closer to 50% That was a neat exercise in any case...

Re: Knowledge test of old cars

These are of course all cars out of your natural historic environment...
If the higher score, the older you must be, then... I wonder if I can have my driver's license already...

Have a nice day!
