The rider was interviewed on cable news yesterday.

He said that the helmet mounted camera doesn't move because the camera is fixed to the helmet, and the camera doesn't pan around because he is always looking straight ahead.

He also said the extreme wide angle lens (fisheye lens) makes the ridge look a little more extreme than it really is. The ridge is about 200 feet high, and if he goes over he can't stop, but will have to take the slide all the way to the bottom.

The video is pretty neat, but the wide angle camera makes it look like leaving the ridge would mean sure death.
