insurance question.

Having a 2002 and 99 LT, with full coverage on both, I am thinking on going down to the minimum requirements for insurance. If I or someone else wreck the bikes, insurance would pretty much total them anyway due to age. Thoughts?

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I'll try again tomorrow".

Insurance may total them, but you'll get a check for the value if you have full coverage. That would have value to me.

How much are you paying for full coverage? That's an essential part of the equation to answer your question, IMO.

Re: insurance question.

Unless you have a declared value for the bikes, I think that your comprehension coverage would be for the book value. As vehicles age, normally the comprehension part of the coverage is less. Everything else seems to go up. I think!

Best to ask your insurance agent.
