You too Lee.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I'll try again tomorrow".

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanks, Mike. If you're working and it's a good chance you are, I hope you're busy enough to make the time pass quickly, but not so much that it's stressful!

I'm in FlatLand with the family. No stress there! Almost makes me wish I WAS working.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!!

Keep that thought going, Brian! Calories, fats, carbs, etc. don't count unless you realize you're eatin' 'em and shouldn't be!

Dave, a lady I worked with in 1982 had the album on 8-track. I borrowed it and recorded it on a cassette. Kids today have got it too easy. They want music, they just download it. In an instant. Why, when we stole music, we had to play it while recording it. Hope you, Margo, Ron, and Bailey have a good Turkey Day!

Getting music wasn't easy for me. The nearest record store was 5 miles away on State St. in Ann Arbor Mi. riding my Schwinn to the store was easy. Riding home one handed holding an album or two was challenging.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy gobbler day to all and happy new year (early) . I am on low carb too Brian, I just eat more turkey and less stuffing and mashed taters. I'll get back to my exercise program (jumping to conclusions) Monday after we finish the left overs.

I gotta say, if this turkey did this (Wild Turkey Chasing Motorcycle!) to me, it'd be on the table that night!

Tried something different that I have not done in over 10 years: went back to slow-roasting the turkey. Was frying it for the past 10 years or so. Peanut oil has really gotten expensive and the mess in the fry pot is no fun either.

So oven-bagged a smaller bird (only 12 pounds) and slow roasted her (250) for 6+ hours. Perfect! AND NO clean-up. Sweet!
