Re: Worldwide Stock Market Collapse

Not if you bought EUO (which is currently trading at $19.24) as I recommended on June 15th.

My plan is unchanged - to continue holding it until I think it's bottomed with an even tighter trailing stop, then back the truck up and BUY Euros like crazy - since at that point it will be the only correctly valued fiat currency in the world.

It seems hard to comprehend but I think the Euro's in for another 15 to 20% decline.

Then, it's the dollar's turn...

Besides a Christmas vacation in Greece I'm thinking a late spring trip to pick up gently used K1600 GTL in Germany, then a 2 week ride through the alps would be refreshing. Nice is wonderful before the summer tourist season, and great place to unwind after a couple of weeks on the scooter.

And to our European members: I'm not picking on you - it's just business.

Slammer,

Here in the states we see on TV & read "how bad it is in europe" - is it true?

From the outside looking in in seems "worse" than over here.

Markets around the world are selling off again today...

Re: Worldwide Stock Market Collapse

To tell the truth it is same oh, same oh! We filter out the breathless news of doom and gloom as just something that sells papers. At the moment there is no impact im day to day life. The CHians are moaning that the dollar the euro and the frank are almost 1:1
However people are starting to baulk at chucking our/their money at the PIIGS states and no return. Dunno what will happen in future but we will get there.
Strange is that you hear bad news from europe and we hear nothing but bad news from the US

Re: Worldwide Stock Market Collapse

The only news broadcast I'll watch is BBC.

Once in a while I'll watch a news broadcast in Spanish, usually from Mexico.

US news broadcasts are pure dreck.

I made a comment to my wife just last night - that wasn't it strange we had to tune into BBC to get the US news! Even on supposed "news" stations like CNN it's just mindless blather from a bunch of talking heads, endless commercials and infotainment.

Do I really care if Kim Kardashian has a big ass?

I just officially continued hijacking this thread - film at eleven!
